…suddenly, darkness enveloped the room…
One night three kids were alone as their parents were out for the night. Just before they left they reminded them to clean out the basement.
‘’Sure” Sandy said.
The kids were planning an epic sleepover!
‘’ Wait ‘’ Nathan paused for a second.
‘’Mum said to clean out the boxes downstairs’’
‘’Okay Nathan I will take Dawn too’’
Just as they walked in, Dawn stared at a glowy light …. Suddenly, the room enveloped darkness … Dawn crawled over to the light …. Dawn's soul was gone. They were never seen again
Whoa, that's a bit freaky. What happened to Dawn's soul? What was the mysterious light? They are questions most of your readers will have. Good dialogue, only one person speaking on each line and using speech marks.
